If you were told you would receive a piece of correspondence and have not yet here are some basic things you can do:
1) If you were told you would receive the correspondence by email:
-Check your spam box, sometimes correspondence from your servicer gets placed there
-Check which address you are using to receive mail (sometimes you still have your old college email placed to your account)
-Make sure there are no misspelling in the email you have on file.
For items two and three you can either check this through your online account or with your servicer over the phone
2) If you were told you would receive the correspondence by mail
-Ask about processing time, sometimes it can take up to two weeks for your form to arrive (which is why it may be a great idea to have your form emailed!)
-See if when they send something, if your servicer digitally images it on your online account. Many do and if it doesn’t arrive this is an easy way to get it.
-Similar to the email check your address and make sure everything is both correct and up to date.
